The float glass production facility is located at 29 kms Lahore-Sheikhupura road with a covered area of 400,000 square feet spread on 25 acres (approx. 1.1 million square feet) of land. This facility comprises of state of the art 2 float lines. Their combined production capacity is 1,000 tons per day.

Ghani’s float lines produce 100% clear, bubbles and distortion free glass ready after being cut into required size and ready to be taken to the ware houses. The plants are producing float glass of various thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 19mm.

The plants have their own two power generation plants and focus on concern for environment. Therefore, they have all the relevant certification of ISO and other operative standards, including certification for being environment friendly. The plants are smoke emission free plants.

Two full fledged nitrogen processing plants are based at Ghani Glass Limited. They have the capacity to produce ample nitrogen gas, used during tin bath of the float glass to make it oxide free, so as to facilitate bubble/distortion free production of world class quality float glass.

The plants are equipped with automatic and virtually intelligent digital control systems (DCS) facility that ensures error free production of extremely high quality grade glass.

Outwardly tempered glass does not appear any different than standard glass. Both types of glass are made in varying sizes and thicknesses and can be colored or tinted. Double glazing also known as insulated glazing are double or triple glass window panes separated by air or other gas (argon) filled space to reduce heat transfer across a part of the building envelope. Glass in windows is used to provide light and allow a view from either side to the other side. The importance to the construction is its dimensional stability over a wide temperature range. Ghani Double Glazed Glass units are manufactured with glass in range of thickness from 2mm to 19mm or more in special applications. Laminated or tempered glass may also be used as a part of the construction.

Most units are manufactured with the same thickness of glass used on both panes (citation needed) but special applications such as acoustic attenuation or security may require wide range of thicknesses to be incorporated in the same unit.
